based at our sales office in Les Ulis, France.

European Inside Sales Group Manager

Job Purpose

The job is meant to help the candidate start his/her career in sales in the Semiconductor industry, developing his/her potential in a motivating and dynamic environment, offering opportunities for career development according to the candidate’s personal achievements.

Intern will be part of the European ADS (Account Development Specialist) Team supporting ADS team to pre-qualify opportunities received from channel partners in France, collaborate closely with field sales team to clean the existing opportunity funnel and to follow-up leads from various sources.


Main Functions


  • Identify, pre-qualify, manage and close on designs and new opportunities within region that are not already assigned to a Client Engagement Manager or Regional Distribution Manager

  • Clean the existing opportunity database, incl. re-qualification of the projects; validation and actualization of relevant, but missing or expired information.

  • Follow up leads from various sources, including sample requests, seminars, Marketing Communication campaigns etc. to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover potential business opportunities at new prospects or existing clients.

  • Regularly update the sales team on new customers/opportunities requesting any additional involvement and assistance from the Regional Distribution Manager/Client Engagement Manager/Embedded Solutions Engineers showing an understanding of the regional and European customer structure and distribution demand creation activity for non-key clients.

Qualifications, knowledge, experience and education required to perform the essential functions

No previous experience required, although previous exposure in similar roles will be considered as a plus.

A successful candidate is a student at the end of the study in Electronics, highly motivated to learn in an international and stimulating business environment.

The candidate must possess:

•              strong will to learn and be trained in the field of technical sales

•              an enquiring mind, keen to discover more about situations and probe for information without prompting from others

•              decision making attitude, capable of taking decisions and appropriate action in situations where not all relevant information is available or accurate, demonstrating realistic qualification of prospect business opportunities throughout the sales process

•              motivation for success and self development

•              persistence and capability to deal with rejection and setbacks, to recognize when current methods are not working, change plans and consider alternative approaches when appropriate.

•              willingness to work in a team, share information, make group decisions

•              excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and knowledge of Excel and MS Office packages are an advantage.

•              Native French language and business proficient English required.
