Job Description

  • Work with diversified groups of internal users and IT team members in the U.S. and overseas to implement projects that support market and product expansion, integrate acquired companies, reduce manufacturing cycle times and improve knowledge worker productivity.
  • Participate and assist in the coordination of project tasks throughout the entire system development life cycle, i.e., analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
  • Learn and exercise different functional knowledge, technical skills, and grow professionally in a dynamic and team-oriented working environment.


Job Requirements

System Analysis/Design:
The candidate must be familiar with all stages and deliverables in each stage of the system development life cycle. He/she should be able to learn quickly, think efficiently, and inquire effectively in order to gather and understand user requirements. Experience with process flow and data flow diagramming tools is desirable.

Project Management:
The candidate must be well-organized to assist project management of various sizes, and detail-oriented to track tasks at different levels. Ambitious with ability to work on own initiative within agreed guidelines
Experience with project management software tools, such as MS Project, is desirable.

Technical Knowledge:
The candidate should also have sufficient technical background to efficiently and effectively communicate to developers. Knowledge in a programming language, relational database, and/or system analysis/design is desirable.

Problem Solving:
The candidate must have the ability to study current practices, think outside the box, and foster creative analysis to complex problems.

•Verbal/Written Communication:
The candidate must have strong English language (verbal and written communication) skills. He/she should be able to contribute in group meetings, provide project updates, write functional/training documents, and relay information accurately to other parties

Teamwork and Culture:
The candidate must be culturally compatible with Microchip’s  values based structure and style and must be able to work in a collaborative environment with both individual and team decision making.  He/she needs to be proactive, customer-oriented, and be able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.  He/she should have well developed emotional intelligence in the key areas of self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.


•Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Science or Math
•Minimum GPA of 3.25
•The ability to travel internationally as needed. (Less than 10% of the time)
•Fully literate in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
