Job Description

Microchip is seeking a result driven Product Marketing Manager in our USB and Networking Group to globally manage our Ethernet solutions portfolio.  This individual will be responsible for:

 

• Promote existing and new solutions to global customer base
• Solid customer engagement to drive new solution definition
• Solid understanding of competitive landscape and how to position against them
• Close relations with field sales and applications engineers to drive and close design wins
• Develop winning solution roadmap for future development investment
• Create new solution business cases and plans to clearly articulate ROI
• Execute new solution launches including customer presentation, sales and channel training, technical collateral, press material, pricing, promotion tours, and web page content generation
• Forecast global demand to ensure seamless supply chain
• Cross divisional engagement to maximize opportunities for Microchip

Job Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent with at least five years of technical marketing experience in a semiconductor corporation
• MBA preferred
• Knowledge of Ethernet market preferred
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Must be a solid team player and be able to work in a cross functional and divisional team environment across global locations
• Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, writing and listening skills
